Sanitation & Environment Technology Institute, Soochow University, was formerly known as the Radiation and Medicine Institute of Suzhou Medical College founded in April 1991. By taking advantage of intelligences, techniques and clinical resources from Soochow University, our institute has developed into an independent legal entity based third party testing facility and a leading enterprise for International Medical Device testing in China. After years of efforts, our medical device evaluation and testing has been certified with CMA (China Metrology Accreditation), CNAS (ISO-17025), and we are accredited to issue reports fully compliant with GLP system that has been inspected by FDA.

Sanitation & Environment Technology Institute is located in the Dushu Lake campus of Soochow University. The site covers an area of more than 6000 m² including over 1000 testing equipments and devices (with a total value over 30 million RMB). In addition, the facility is equipped with an 1800 m² SPF Animal Laboratory, an >100 m² high standard cleaning room below 10³ level and one >100 m² physical laboratory with constant temperature and humidity.
